What to Expect at Your New Patient Exam
Welcome
our first visit begins with a warm welcome from one of our Chiropractic Assistants, who will assist you in completing any necessary paperwork. You'll also receive a brief tour of the office before being guided to a treatment room.
Comprehensive Exam
Your chiropractor will take the time to review your health history and discuss your personal health goals. A thorough, neurologically focused examination will be performed, which includes physical, orthopedic, and neurological assessments to evaluate how your nervous system may be impacting your overall health
INSIGHT™ Nervous System Scan
A Chiropractic Assistant will then perform a three-part INSIGHT™ Scan, which measures nervous system function using heart rate variability, thermography, and surface electromyography. These scans are non-invasive and safe for all ages and stages of life—including pregnancy and newborns.
Please note: For portions of the scan that require skin contact along your spine, we ask that your hair be tied up and your shirt removed. Gowns are provided for your comfor
Next Steps: Report of Findings
At the conclusion of your exam, you’ll schedule your second visit—called the Report of Findings. During this appointment, your chiropractor will review the results of your exam and INSIGHT™ scans, and present a personalized care plan to help optimize your nervous system and overall function. Your first chiropractic adjustment will also take place during this visit.
